Hugo Teufel

Hugo Teufel is Lumen’s Chief Privacy Officer. Hugo brings more than 20 years of experience to this role, where he works to design, implement and refine strategic initiatives throughout the company. Hugo’s career has centered on the changing landscape of privacy and security across a variety of industries. He previously served in several leadership roles, including as Chief Privacy Counsel for Raytheon Company and as Chief Privacy Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He also holds CIPP/G, CIPP/US and CIPM certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
