Martin Nystrom

Martin G. Nystrom is Vice President of Product Security for Lumen Technologies, where he leads the Security Product development, Threat Intelligence, and Operations organization, and leads the Black Lotus Labs threat intelligence organization.Martin spent 20 years at Cisco, most recently as their Head of Product Management for Cisco’s premier security platform – SecureX. He also led managed security services, internal SOC and security engineering teams. He has experience in building cybersecurity products and services and specialized in creating strategic solutions to detect, remediate and prevent security breaches. As a founding member of Cisco CSIRT, he built Cisco’s cyber threat operations and response, including global SOCs, detection playbooks, architecture, and Cisco’s first big data platform.
